Families and Friends of St. Joseph School,
For nearly a century, our close-knit community of priests, faculty, and families have combined to create a private Catholic school that unlocks students’ potential. It is our shared faith in our mission that motivates us to guide students to become the best version of themselves.
While I must give credit for this phrase to speaker, Matthew Kelly, I will use it because it not only rings with truth and realism, but its optimism is enlightening. To be our best self is to be who God made us to be. That is the only path to personal fulfillment. It is my personal opinion that after a faithful Catholic home, a Catholic school is the best place for young men and women to reach their true potential.
Our students are drawn from West Warwick, Warwick, Coventry, Cranston, Johnston, Situate, East Greenwich, Providence, and nearby Connecticut. Our faculty, staff, administration, parents, school board, alumni, supportive parishioners, and friends engage all students in the learning process, providing a sound education, deeply rooted in a rich, Catholic Christian faith. Our arts, athletics, and other extra-curricular offerings complement our challenging curriculum.
The heart of our school philosophy is the position that students are encouraged to explore possibilities and meet challenges with confidence. Our teachers and staff are committed to helping all students maintain high standards of excellence, inspiring excitement about learning, and developing a relationship with Christ Jesus. I encourage you to explore this website and discover how we form young students into well-rounded scholars open to an active life of faith.
