Curriculum
At St. Joseph School we inspire the intellectual curiosity of our students and provide a sound Catholic educational environment. At the most basic level, we teach students foundational Christian values, impart knowledge and skills, while providing for a variety of student needs. SJS programs are designed to meet the age appropriate spiritual, moral, academic, social, emotional, and physical needs of the students served. Our curriculum is adopted and/or adapted from those produced by the Catholic School Office of the Diocese of Providence or the Archdiocese of Hartford. They are aligned to national content standards, Common Core, and regulations of the Rhode Island Department of Education for non-public schools.
