G Suite For Education

In their sixth grade year, students are assigned a school provided G Suite for Education account (formerly called Google Apps for Education, aka GAFE).  G Suite’s core products offer teachers and students cross platform, web-based tools for creating and collaborating documents, spreadsheets, and presentations, as well as a calendar and school email account.  Through use of web-based technologies, we introduce students to new tools and strategies facilitating increased and meaningful collaboration, communication and differentiation.

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)

Students in grades 6 through 8 can participate in our Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program.  This program allows your child to bring an electronic device such as an e-reader, iPad, tablet, Chromebook, or laptop into class. We encourage all students to participate. If parents choose not to send their child to school with a wireless device, teachers will have alternative assignments available for students. These alternatives may include completing the assignment on paper or observing material with another student. At this time, we do not have an abundance of additional wireless devices for student use. In order to participate, students must sign and return the BYOD Acceptable Use Policy Addendum.
