Before and After School Care Program
In order to better meet the needs of today's families, St. Joseph School offers an Extended Care program.
Our Before School Program is available Monday through Friday when school is in session, beginning at 7:00 a.m. and ending at 8:00 a.m. Children in the Before School Program are escorted to their classrooms at 8:00 a.m.
Our After School Program is available from 3:15 p.m. until 5:45 p.m. The first 30 minutes of this program are devoted to the completion of homework. Parents are asked to provide a light, healthy snack and drink.

Cost:
The 2024-2025 cost for each program is $10.00 per hour, per child and will be tabulated to the nearest quarter hour. (ex. Your child signs out at 4:05 p.m., you will be signed out at 4:00 p.m.)
The cost per family for this service is $15.00 per family, per hour and will also be tabulated to the nearest quarter hour.
(Extended Care services are billed as a separate item in your FACTS Tuition billing account available to be paid online.)
Procedure:
Before School Program: Students will enter by the gym doors. Once visually verified, students and adults will be admitted. Parent/guardian must sign the student(s) in each day.
After School Program: Children will report directly to After School Care. Teachers record the students as present. Parent/legal guardian or other authorized individual must enter through the rectory side doors, use the security bell and wait to be verified. Once admitted, the adult must sign the student(s) out. Student(s) will be released only to those whose name is listed on the registration form.
Any individual on the authorized list to pick up your child may be asked to show some form of identification if the teachers in charge are unfamiliar with the person picking up your child.
