Saint Joseph School is a tuition-driven, Catholic School.  We are committed to providing high quality, academically rigorous educational experiences for hard-working families in the greater West Warwick area.  As such we rely on financial support from the community.  To that end, we schedule fundraisers, solicit benefactors and partnerships to accomplish our mission. 

Our Parent Teacher Partnership Group (PTP) sets an annual fundraising goal through fun, family oriented activities and charity drives.

Student Scholarships

A wonderful charity is to fund a needy student for their  education at St. Joseph School.  This would allow a student, whose family could not otherwise afford to provide them with an outstanding Catholic education.

St. Joseph works with the Catholic Foundation of Rhode Island.  The mission of the Catholic Foundation of Rhode Island is to procure and build endowment funds while serving as a permanent organization for the management and administration of funds given to St. Joseph School. The Foundation assists us with responsible Christian stewardship for the preservation and promotion of the last Catholic school in West Warwick.

Donors can rest assured that great care is taken not to invest in companies whose business activities conflict with Church teachings.  Disbursements from our endowed funds will help sustain enrollment that will have a lasting impact on our faith-filled community which will further the spiritual work of the Catholic Church.  This strong commitment to Catholic education will continue to help for years to come with our investments in the Catholic Foundation.

St. Joseph is very fortunate to already have one endowment fund in memory of Henry Shepherd.  Henry Shepherd was a great man who believed in the teaching offered here at St. Joseph School in West Warwick.  His endowment fund was set up with just a little under $50,000, it is growing closer to maturity and should be ready for it's first scholarship pay out in the next two years.   If you are interested in leaving a lasting legacy for the children of St. Joseph School consider setting up an endowment fund with us today.   For more information contact the school office at 401-821-3450.
