On Thursday, October 29th, our Grade 7 students enjoyed a highly educational trip to Boston. This was the culminating event for their unit on Tyranny and events leading to the Revolutionary War. They walked the Freedom Trail with a costumed guide, then enjoyed the many delights of Quincy Market for lunch. Then, as a prelude to a unit on biomes in Life Science, they walked to the New England Aquarium and explored their many displays and demonstrations.
Funding for this trip was primarily covered through the fund raising activities of Grade 7 parents, to whom we are very grateful! Also, thank you to our chaperones who helped to keep our students safe and on-topic.
